California State University, San Bernardino is on the "quarter system" and all of the EVOC courses are 4 (four) credit units per course. There is no difference in cost between courses offered on campus and distance learning courses.
When making cost comparisons, distance learners should consider the money and the time they will save by not ever having to drive to any course locations at any time! :^)
Fees for registration must be paid before the beginning of each quarter. Several factors may influence cost. Each of those factors is addressed below.

CO$T of Applying for Admission to CSUSB
There is a fee of $55 that must be paid when your Application for Admission is submitted. This is a one-time non-refundable fee that covers the cost of processing your application. It is your responsibility to see that the CSUSB Admissions Office is sent a copy of your Official Transcripts from each institution that you list on your Application for Admission.
After you have been admitted, you still need to register for courses. The registration costs indicated below are approximate and may differ slightly from quarter to quarter.
CO$T of Registration each Quarter for California residents
as a REGULAR STUDENT or "EVOC Courses Only" SCHOLAR
If you take 6 units or less (one 4 unit course), the approximate fee is $700.
If you take more than 6 units (two or more 4 unit courses), the approximate fee is $1100. Fees for graduate students are about 5% higher than fees for undergraduate students. Fees for non-residents of California are quite a bit higher. There is a definite financial advantage to taking two or more courses each quarter.
