Who It's For

EVOC 519 is required for both Level 1 of the Designated Subjects Teaching Credential and the Bachelor of Vocational Education (BVE) Degree at CSUSB. It may also be applied to an MA degree if it is not completed while still an undergraduate. Distance Learners are encouraged to complete EVOC 501 assignments before starting on EVOC 519. Be sure to enroll in both EVOC 519 and the EVOC 519 Lab in the same quarter. Both those doing distance learning and those doing skills documentation must still enroll in both the class and the lab, even though they will not be attending any class or lab sessions.

Anyone who takes EVOC 519 is expected to have already mastered basic computer skills in word processing, web browsing and the effective use of e-mail (anyone lacking these skills should take a basic computer course at a community college or adult school BEFORE enrolling in EVOC 519).

Anyone interested in the Distance Learning or Skills Documentation options for EVOC 519, please e-mail course instructor Donna Shea (evoc@verizon.net) ASAP.
