Students who take Career & Technical Teacher Education Courses (courses with an EVOC prefix) here at CSUSB are considered to be scholars and are treated accordingly.
All EVOC course instructors pledge to:
- Make the delivery of effective, pertinent instruction to the scholars who have enrolled in the courses they instruct, their number one priority.
- Develop and publish a clear and precise set of expectations for each course they instruct indicating what scholars should be able to do as a result of the instruction received.
- Develop valid evaluation instruments for each course they instruct, that will provide fair and accurate indication of the degree to which scholars have met course expectations.
- Treat each scholar as a unique, mature individual, and truly listen to what each scholar has to say.
- Maintain the highest standards of academic excellence while simultaneously insuring that all of the material in all of their courses is of real practical value.
- Work cooperatively with scholars, faculty, staff and administrators to identify and solve problems which impact on the quality of education.
- Treat every person they encounter with courtesy and respect.
